    Wedding Planning is ideal for couples who want to sit back, relax, and enjoy every moment of their wedding journey. Our full planning package alleviates all pressures and stress as we handle everything for you. From researching and booking your suppliers and venue to managing your guest list and budget, we coordinate every detail throughout the process and on your wedding day itself plus much, much more.

    Wedding Coordination, on the other hand, is tailored for couples who have already made significant progress in planning but need assistance on the day itself. This package is perfect for those who want to manage their planning independently but require support in the lead-up to, and on, their wedding day. We will create your run sheet and manage communications with your suppliers during the final week, ensuring that everything is in place. On your wedding day, our team will be there to set up, style, and coordinate all guests and vendors, allowing you and your loved ones to fully embrace the love and excitement of the day.

    Both services are designed to create a seamless experience, but wedding planning offers comprehensive support throughout the entire process, while wedding coordination focuses on executing your plans flawlessly on the big day.

  • The ideal timeframe for booking your wedding venue is typically 12 to 18 months out from your big day. This advance planning ensures you secure the perfect location that aligns with your vision, especially if you're considering popular Gold Coast and Brisbane wedding venues.

    However, we understand that life can sometimes throw unexpected timelines your way. If you find yourself in need of a venue after this timeframe, don’t worry! Our dedicated team is here to assist you in securing a beautiful venue, no matter the schedule.

  • When it comes to booking your wedding suppliers, it’s generally best to have all vendors secured a minimum of 6 to 8 months out from your big day. This timeframe allows you to choose from a range of options and ensures that you can lock in all 20+ suppliers.

    If you find yourself beyond this timeframe, please reach out to us as soon as possible, as you may be facing a wedding emergency.

    At The Other Bridesmaid, we ensure every detail is taken care of for you. Rest assured, we will leave no stone unturned in making your wedding dreams a reality.

  • If you're working with The Other Bridesmaid, you're in safe hands at any stage of your wedding journey.

    If you're planning a wedding for the first time and work 30+ hours a week, we recommend starting your planning 18 to 24 months out. This timeframe allows you to dedicate ample time to researching, communicating with vendors, styling, and sorting out logistics without feeling rushed.

    On average, you can expect to spend 200 to 300 hours in total planning your own wedding.

    Here's an easy formula to work out how many hours you can expect to work on your wedding:

  • Yes! All of our services include setup (bump in) and pack down (bump out) for everything from The Other Bridesmaid stock, handled seamlessly by our dedicated coordinators.

    For items outside of The Other Bridesmaid hire, we offer pack down services as an add-on, ensuring that all of your family and friends can fully enjoy your special day without any worries.
